Donna: Gwen Stefani — I love her!

Donna: Pasta.

Donna: Cookies.

Donna: Edamame.

Donna: Coffee.

Donna: The South Beach Diet book.

Donna: Self magazine and Fitness magazine.

Donna: Sushi, particularly a spicy tuna roll.

Donna: Not really.
Diet Detective: How do you take total control of your mind and body to achieve the focus you need during pivotal sports moments?
Donna: Music helps me become motivated, it drives me.
Diet Detective: What do you think is the best training location in the world?
Donna: Miami Beach—hands down!
Diet Detective: What do you do to reduce stress/relax/center your mind? Do you participate in an organized relaxation activity such as yoga, meditation or tai chi?
Donna: I usually run to relax myself.
Diet Detective: Are there healthy restaurants that you enjoy and would recommend?
Donna: Serafina is a great restaurant that offers fresh Italian food.
Diet Detective: Do you have a favorite healthy recipe or cooking tip? If so would you share it?
Donna: Make sure you use the freshest ingredients and virgin olive oil.

Donna: Broadway dancer to aerobics instructor to fitness facility owner to Senior VP of programming for Crunch Fitness.

Donna: Not realizing that there is “nothing you can’t do”.
Diet Detective: Is there anything about yourself that you’ve changed your mind about in the last 20 years?
Donna: My ability to grow and learn.
Diet Detective: What’s the next major item on your “to-do” list?
Donna: Finding the next fitness phenomenon and focusing on Crunch’s growth outside the box of the gyms…TV, movies, and the world.
Diet Detective: Define individual responsibility and how you react to adverse situations.
Donna: I need to take a breath and get the facts before I react.
Diet Detective: Was there a defining moment in your life when you made a decision that changed the course of the rest of your life forever?
Donna: Working with my then partner at club body tech, Dan Critchett.

Donna: Strength is not a negative. Sometimes it is best to keep your mouth shut.
