Bayoubuzz: Super Bowl snacks can tackle diet

Watching the big game can turn into a big fumble for football fans’ diets.

Dr. Charles Platkin, a professor at the CUNY School of Public Health at Hunter College in New York City and editor of DietDetective.com, says the Super Bowl is the second biggest day for food consumption in the U.S. (Thanksgiving is first.)

The good doctor has come up with a list of favorite game day snacks and how much each will cost in exercise. The idea is to use exercise equivalents to provide a reference for calories.
