Q: My FoodTee is a gift! Can I include a gift card when I order?
A: Unfortunately, not yet. Once we get our t-shirt shop launched, we'll focus on gift options. But in the meantime, go ahead and order 'em a shirt. (You can always stick a card in the mail yourself...)
Q: I'd like to buy a FoodTee by DietDetective.com as a gift, but I'm not sure which one to get. Can I order a gift certificate?
A: Not yet, but we promise this will be coming soon.
Q: Do you have more styles?
A: The designs that are up on our site are what we have available. Our designs are released in batches, and the next one is on its way. So please stop in and visit us regularly to see what's new!
Q: I heard that you donate proceeds to charity. What charity is it, and why did you pick that one?
A: We donate a portion of our profits to the The Food Studies Institute, Two Angry Moms, and Better School Food. This is so important, because our children are our future. What they eat every day matters; the younger they start eating well, the better.
Q: What T-shirts do you use?
A: We offer FoodTees for Men, Women, Children, Toddlers, and Babies–and we know that one size does not fit all. So we've hand-picked different shirts that our designs can be printed on. At the order screen you can select which Department (men, women,, children, toddlers or babies) you'd like to order from, as well as your size (and t-shirt style, where applicable). Our women's short sleeve shirts are printed on made-in-America sweatshop free 100% cotton American Apparel stock (white) or American Apparel organic cotton (natural). We also offer a loose fit women's shirt that's printed on a Gildan T. Men's T's are printed on Haines, Gildan or Anvil. The toddler and baby lines are printed on Haines or Gildan. All of our T's are 100% cotton.
Q: What if I want to purchase more than one shirt, but I want them sent to different addresses?
A: At this time each order can only be sent to one address. If you have multiple shipping locations, each recipient address will need to be processed as a separate order. Please note that since shipping is free, there will be no additional cost for placing multiple orders for multiple shipping addresses.
Q: How do I get Foodtee's for my store?

Q: I have not received my order and it's been over 7 business days? What do I do?
A: Please e-mail us with your order number, we will check the status. Also, please note that organic t's are custom made and may take up to two weeks to arrive.
Q: I really don't like my shirt, can I return it?
A: No, exchanges for wrong sizes only.
Q: Will you use my information for any other purpose besides the purchase of these FoodTees
A: Absolutely not.
Q: How secure is your ordering system?
A: Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software combined with our THAWTE certification is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure online commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. For security reasons we DO NOT store your credit card details on our server. Please visit our Security & Privacy page for more information.
Q: What method of shipping do you use? Do you ship internationally?
A: T-shirts are delivered via United States Postal Service, and should arrive within 3-7 days. For faster shipping, please select the method you'd prefer during the checkout process. Note: Additional fees will apply. Please note that additional shipping costs apply to international orders. International orders will be shipped via USPS, for a fee of $39.
Q: I'm ready!! How long will it take to get my FoodTee?
A: Orders will be processed as quickly as possible. Turn around time for in-stock t-shirts is approximately 72 hours if orders are received by 3pm EST. For now, our organic tees are custom made. Please be aware that it may take up to 2 weeks for organics to arrive.
Q: Do you have any tips for ordering?
Yes! Our women's short sleeve shirts are available in two different t-shirt styles: American Apparel and Gildan. If you like the look of the American Apparel, but you're unsure of your size, order up... the flattering cut of both the white and organic American Apparel T's tends to run a bit small. If you prefer a looser fit woman's shirt, go with the Gildan style. The rest of our styles' sizes run "true", so stick with the size you usually wear.
Q: I know I need to wash fruit and veggies before I eat them... Is there anything I need to know about taking care of my FoodTee?
A: The FoodTee designs hold up great, wash after wash. Please check the label on your t-shirt for washing instructions.
