Blueberries are often considered one of the ‘Superfoods’. Blueberries are a great source of vitamins, minerals, phenolics, fiber, and flavonoids.
Experts says that foods like berries, nuts, soy, yogurt, veggies, fresh fruit and more can help prevent heart disease, high cholesterol, and other chronic diseases.
Blueberries are high in naturally occurring *antioxidants such as Vitamins C and E, and are low in sodium and fat.
One cup of blueberries has approx. 84 calories, 14mg of Vit. C and .8mg of Vit. E.,
and contains 14% of the daily value of Fiber (2.41g per 100g)
**One serving of Blueberry juice = 3/4 cup (6 oz.) of 100% juice
One serving of dried Blueberries = 1/4 cup
