FitTip: Don’t Jerk While Lifting Weights Print E-mail
Written by Diet Detective Editorial Staff
Even though you may be pressed for time these days, that's no excuse to plow through your strength training regimen. Doing the moves slowly and using proper form is always the safest, smartest way to work out. When you lift and lower a weight too quickly, you may be using the momentum, rather than your muscles, to do the exercise. Always keep the motion slow and controlled.
