Are models too skinny—or not skinny enough? Print E-mail

After the death of Ana Carolina Reston last year, some fashion houses have discussed a ban on stick-thin models. (One major fashion show in Madrid banned models with a BMI below 18; Reston’s BMI at the time of her death was 13.5.) But one former supermodel doesn’t support the idea. In fact, she thinks it’s time for models to get even skinnier.

Surprise, surprise—I’m talking about Janice Dickinson. Girl loves nothing more than a good scandal, and she was obviously hungry for some bad press when she offered up this gem:

“I'm dying to find kids who are too thin. I've got 42 models in my agency and I'm trying to get them to lose weight. In fact, I wish they'd come down with some anorexia. I'm not kidding. I'm running into a bunch of fat-assed, lazy little bitches who don't know how to do the stairs or get their butts into the gym.”

Stunning. Remind me again why half of Hollywood is starving?
