Sometimes herbs and anesthetics don’t mix, so be sure to keep your doctor in the know.Tell your physician about all of the herbal supplements you're taking, especially if you're scheduled for surgery. Many herbal products, such as garlic, gingko biloba and ginger, may cause adverse reactions with anesthetics.
