The Why: Trying to find a recipe, but only have a few ingredients in your home? We have the answer. Supercook.com will find you recipes from the web with ingredients you have right in your fridge and pantry. You type in the ingredients you have, or want to cook with and Supercook.com spits back recipes it’s found on the web. They currently have more than 250,000 recipes that they’ve found and sorted by ingredients. It even tells you exactly how many recipes you can make, broken down into 'Starters', 'Entrees' and 'Dessert' categories The Health Bonus: You can finally cook healthy with ingredients that you might have right in your fridge. What We Liked Best: Using the 'Recommended' section on supercook, you can instantly find out what flavors go well together. For example, if there was a dish you wanted to improve upon that consisted of 'chicken, ginger and garlic', simply enter those ingredients into 'your kitchen'. Supercook will instantly calculate that the best ingredients to add are 'soy sauce, brown sugar, onion and lemon' and display them under the 'Recommended' ingredients section. What We Liked Least: They don’t “pre-approve” the recipes, so you have to check to make sure that the site that actually provides the recipe (keep in mind it’s a search engine) is legit. What It Replaces: not cooking at home and searching through cookbooks and recipe websites. The Price: Free Trackback(0)
