In homage to prime-time TV, let’s dedicate this week to the lovely gals of Grey’s Anatomy and their terrible health habits. First up is Seattle Grace’s favorite defector, Kate Walsh. TIP #1: BARELY EATING
I’m obsessed with Rachael Ray’s BLD segment, in which she convinces a celebrity to keep a one-day food diary. I’m assuming the typical diary is padded with lies and best-case scenarios, but still. This month, Kate Walsh revealed her simple meal plan. And by simple, I mean there’s barely any food involved. Breakfast is cappuccino and oatmeal; lunch is salad, grilled salmon, and water; dinner might be roasted chicken and garlic if she has time to cook. She also says, “My favorite indulgence is chocolate—I love it!” But alas, she doesn’t seem to manage to squeeze any cocoa into her busy schedule. Final count: around 950 calories, or a mere 40 percent of the recommended daily intake for a 5’10”, moderately active woman. Either Kate’s conveniently forgetting a thousand-calorie fourthmeal at Taco Bell, or she’s just a nutritional nightmare. Take your pick. Coming up next time…Katherine Heigl Trackback(0)
