In a recent interview, Carrie Underwood admitted, “Ice cream is my friend. If anybody sees me eating a sundae and I look unhappy, something bad has happened. I am drowning my sorrows in fudge and caramel and whipped cream.” Honestly, it’s kind of refreshing to hear about a celebrity who gives in to the bummer binge. Most of them are more than happy to use their breakups as a solid excuse to cease all caloric intake—y'know, they were so heartbroken they just couldn’t eat. Diet Dr. Pepper, mac and cheese, and ma*s quantities of chocolate.

I'm not much of an ice cream person, but I find crunchy things help me when I'm down. Pita Chips, Sunflower Seeds, Crispy Cookie... I know an apple or baby carrots would be better, but hey when you are down sometimes the little things help.
