How often have you seen an overweight police officer and thought - hmm -- too many doughnuts. Well, the city of Chicago, the 2nd largest police department in the US is thinking about creating a "thinner blue line" according to the NY Times. Read the article in the Times here. Its about time! I have often thought upon seeing numerous police officers "how could they possibly protect/chase and detain any person, criminal or civilian in that shape?" Our EMT's should be next...
