Calorie Bargain: Kagome Juices—Ruby Pomegranate Harmony

The Why:  We all really like this juice; it’s tasty, satisfying and gives you a bit of a boost. All these juices contain 9 vegetables and 3 fruits, including pomegranates, carrots, apples, tomatoes and beets. Red fruits and vegetables are a natural source of the phytonutrient lycopene, anthocyanin and other antioxidants, which have been associated with promoting healthy heart and memory function.

The Health Bonus: Nice supply of potassium, No added sugar, artificial flavors or preservatives.

What We Liked Best: The ingredients. Also, in this particular case, you will probably only need or want to drink ˝ the bottle – meaning, it fills you up.

What We Liked Least: Each flavor Kagome offers has a distinct acquired taste – so you need to do a taste test. Also, there is no fiber – to get that, you need whole fruits and vegetables.

What It Replaces: Soda, fruit juice, and juice with additives.

The Price: 11.5 oz. BTL (12 Pack Case)  $26.99

Other Offerings: (Fruit & Vegetable Blends) Yellow Mango Orchard, Golden Peach Garden, Burgundy Berry Blossom, Purple Roots & Fruits, Autumn Reds, Orange Carrot Blossom. (Vegetable Juices) Sweet Summer Tomato, True Vegetable Garden, Carrot Ginger Zest

This looks like a good thing to have on hand in a pinch. If you still have to eat fruits and vegetables to get the fiber, you get the phyto chemicals you need there, no?
