I have always really liked pumpkin seeds, but now I am fully in love. I have discovered a company called HARVEST ROAST and they make slow roasted pumpkin seeds in 5 different flavors (my favorite flavor is the chili lime)! Available at Whole Foods, these tasty little treats have only 120 calories per serving (same size serving as almonds but HALF the calories!).Not only are they so delicious, they are jam-packed with tons of nutrients! Pumpkin seeds naturally contain niacin, magnesium, phosphorous, iron, linolenic acid and amino acids (arginine and glutamic). They are full of both omega-3 and -6 essential fatty acids. They are a wonderful source of protein and are full of fiber (10 grams per serving!). Hands down the best snack ever!
