Winter Comfort Foods You’re cooped up in the house because of the awful weather, and all you want to do is eat. How can you make the best choices?

Brrr! You've got the wintertime blues! It's cold and rainy outside, and all you want to do is curl up under a blanket and eat. Here are our picks of foods to beat that cold weather funk.

Chocolate treat.

Enjoy sugar-free hot chocolate topped with mini-marshmallows (1 cup with 3 marshmallows: 60 calories).

Naturally sweet. Sprinkle cinnamon on a warm baked apple (apple: 80 calories).

Hearty and wholesome: Toast a slice of fresh whole wheat bread and top with apple butter (1 slice with 1 teaspoon: 90 calories).

Piping hot. A rich, steaming cup of homemade vegetable soup (1 cup: 100 calories)

Baked potato with fat free sour cream and chives (1 small potato and 1 tablespoon sour cream: 155 calories).

Get toasty. Pop a slice of bread in your toaster oven topped with tomato slices and reduced fat cheese (One slice bread, one slice cheese, and 3 tomato slices: 165 calories).
