New Year New Diet Print E-mail

Oh please. It's already the 8th! If you've kept to your diet and exercised at least 3-4 times in these 8 days, you might actually be on the road to something. However, most resolution-makers have already started to fail.

The key to keeping resolutions or "diet" goals? Start over every week.

People like to start things on January 1 because it feels fresh and new. But every day can be fresh and or new. Every.Single.Day!

If that doesn't work, try this. What day do you feel starts your week over? Sunday? Monday? Or, if you have  a wacky works schedule, it may be something else?

Psych yourself up to start again that day. Don't start before your "new" feeling day- use the time leading up to it to rehash your goals, just like you did on New Years eve.

Start over. Start over again. Keep starting over.
