Nothing Like Home Cookin’ Print E-mail

Dessert is pretty much the last thing I want to think about right now—let’s just say mistakes were made this weekend. But I thought this little tidbit about Justin Timberlake’s favorite dessert was too sweet (har, har) to pass up.

Apparently JT is so hooked on his grandmother’s pecan pie that he added it to the menu at his NYC eatery, Southern Hospitality. Now he can enjoy home cooking anytime he wants—how cute is that? (Needless to say, this is decidedly not the secret to JT’s six-pack abs—according to the Diet Detective activity calculator, it’ll take an extra half-hour of running to burn off a slice.) If you’re not still suffering from a holiday sugar coma, here’s the not-so-secret recipe, per InTouch magazine:

3 eggs, beaten
1 cup sugar
1 T. flour
1/8 t. salt
3 T. butter, melted
1 t. vanilla
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup chopped pecans
1 8-inch pie shell

 

Mix it all in a bowl, pour it into the pie crust, and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. (Jessica Biel sightings not guaranteed.)
