As I mentioned in the burger post, Mel B made Star’s list of the “10 Best & Worst Bodies After Baby,” along with fellow newlymoms Tori Spelling, Angelina Jolie, Bridget Moynahan, Samantha Harris, Julia Roberts, Naomi Watts, Jaime Pressly, Heidi Klum, Geri Halliwell, and Gwen Stefani. If you’re keeping count, that’s actually eleven, but I guess “10” just sounded nicer. Anyway, post-natal nutritionist Keri Glassman evaluated their post-baby weight loss—and apparently, pretty much everyone got it wrong. According to Glassman, Naomi, Angelina, Geri, and Tori went to extremes. Jaime Pressly, Heidi Klum and Samantha Harris lost too fast. Only Gwen Stefani, Bridget Moynahan, and Julia Roberts escaped criticism. The thing is, with a few exceptions, everyone actually dropped the baby weight at almost the same rate. And most of them are at a healthy weight now. Here’s the breakdown. TORI SPELLING ANGELINA JOLIE BRIDGET MOYNAHAN SAMANTHA HARRIS JULIA ROBERTS NAOMI WATTS JAMIE PRESSLY HEIDI KLUM GERI HALLIWELL GWEN STEFANI So by the numbers, only three of these mamas have taken their weight loss too far—Tori, Angelina, and Heidi. The rest of them are in a healthy range, and with the exception of Samatha, none of the dropped the weight too quickly. (The average rate was about four to eight pounds per month.) As Glassman states in the story, the best tip for losing baby weight is this: It took nine months to gain it, so give yourself nine months to lose it. Unless your world tour starts sooner. (P.S.
