Ok guys, let's face it. I live in the midwest. In Michigan. It really wasn't until that long ago that hunting season equated to a school holiday.

Despite my proximity to East Lansing and Ann Arbor, I'm still pretty much stuck between the coasts here. This sure ain't SoHo and I really don't find tons of vegg friends.

Combine that with my lifestyle (soccer mom anyone?) and you can understand why I'm a MODERATE vegetarian: lack of support being #1.

However, today I happened across this website that makes me feel decidedly not so lonely: The Post Punk Kitchen. 

They've got it all over there: community, recipes, a blog and more. I have found a home!

Next step: trying out some of these chocolate peanut butter banana cupcakes for Thanksgiving--- gotta show the family that you can be vegan AND yummy all at the same time!
