When preparing foods for a person who hates vegetables, you start considering other vehicles with which to get fiber into their diet. Breads are a logical choice, with so many multi-grain, high-fiber options readily available on supermarket shelves. My problem? Well, it probably comes as no surprise, but my husband absolutely adores white bread. My husband doesn't do much of our grocery shopping, but he always manages to make sure we have a fresh loaf of white bread in the house. I regularly fill our breadbox with whole grain, rye, and pumpernickel breads, and my husband will make an attempt to eat them. His attempts usually involve picking the bread apart into smaller pieces, with large chunks of bread and crust left remaining on his plate. Considering most of these breads have 3 or 4 grams of fiber a slice, I am lucky if he gets even 3 grams of fiber after he's through. That's why I love Thomas' Multi Grain Light English Muffins. 100 calories a piece, with eight grams of fiber. That's right, I said EIGHT. But that isn't the best part. The best part is, that with an english muffin's compact size, my husband easily eats the entire thing. And at 100 calories a pop, they also make a great breakfast for yours truly, especially when they are spread with a tablespoon of peanut butter. They may not take the place of my husband's beloved white bread, but knowing I can get him to enjoy one of these english muffin's once or twice a week makes it a little bit easier to improve both our diets. Does anyone know the shelf life on a package of Thomas English Muffins (lite)

I was raised on English Muffins, so this is an easy one for me.
