Disney Butts into the Food Business Again Print E-mail

Earlier I blogged about how the Chronicle of Higher Education ran a halfway complimentary article regarding Disney's latest foray into animal/enviro friendly character creation.

Seems Disney is trying to get your munchkins (dwarfs?) to eat their veggies, too.

They're introducing Mickey-shaped vegg and fruit trays to chainstores like Kroger and Albertsons. "Disney Garden" is introduced in response to pressure on retailers and marketers to help curb childhood obesity.

Packaged examples include peanut butter and raisins with celery, terriyaki snap peas and cheesy Broccoli, according to the report of Fox News.

This is something I think my children will actually eat...How about you?
