Hi, my name’s Allena, and I cook meat, and I do it almost every night. This is because, in my family of 4, I’m the only one who is vegg. My husband was raised on tacos with beans and rice (man, do those raise a man good!), and is rather attached to his “baby”…er, his grill. The children are pretty picky, and if McDonalds didn’t exist (hmm, there’s a nice thought), they’d pretty much be on my side. Now, there’s good news and bad news to this. The good news is that I’m generally the cook. The bad news is, as the cook, I will generally conjure up two dinners a night, one for my family and one for myself. However, I reserve the right to cook a gourmet, filling vegg meal at least once or twice a week. And when I see my husband back for seconds, I kindly remind him of how good it can be to eat vegg. Happily, I’ve found some company on the net. Seems like I’m not the only one trying to influence my family’s meals. Maybe we can get rid of the grills together. Trackback(0)

Hi! It's hard not to be a short order cook when looking out for your own agenda and your whole family too. Which one of those recipes you link to is your favorite? Have you tried them? There are LOTS, I was wondering which ones to try first.
