It's your regular Friday night routine - order a pizza, watch your favorite Tivo'd program, and spend some quality time with your loved ones. Well, that doesn't have to change just because you're trying to lose weight. There are ways to turn pizza (yes, even pizza) into a healthy food. The trick is all in the toppings! When you're ordering your pizza, one of the easiest ways to save on calories and fat is simply to go cheeseless. Many pizzerias offer a cheeseless version, but if they don't, you can just pull the cheese off when you get it. For the cheese addicts: If you can't imagine a pizza without cheese, at least steer yourself away from extra cheese, deep dish, and stuffed crust pizzas, all of which have additional calories. So next time you're at the mall with your family or hanging out with some friends, don't feel guilty when you step into the local pizza place.
