Healthy Snacks to Sneak Into The Movies It may mean a little effort, but you can replace unhealthy concession counter sweets with low-fat snacks and fruits for you to enjoy.

Eating healthy is easy when you have plenty of options to choose from, but it's tough when you're at the movie theater and the only things on the menu are super-size boxes of Milk Duds and bags of butter-drenched popcorn.

Want a tip? Smuggle in a snack from home.

Okay, it's not exactly cool with theater owners (they make a huge chunk of their profits from concession sales, you know) but until they start offering the good stuff, it may be your only option. If you're new to snack sneaking, start out by bringing a piece of fruit.  Put it in a plastic sandwich bag in your bag or backpack so you'll have a place to put the core when you're done eating. Grapes are a good choice for more experienced fruit smugglers. Although a little more difficult to transport, they provide the hand-to-mouth action that'll comfort you through the tense moments of a slasher flick, and they're much more refreshing than gummy bears.

Another great alternative: Goldfish crackers. They're low in fat and have only 140 calories for 55 pieces-and they're yummy! A small bag of these babies might help you forget about popcorn entirely.  String cheese is also easy to stash in a bag or jacket pocket, and it is a good source of protein and calcium (translation: they'll help keep you pumped with energy when you're done sitting in the theater).

If you can't bring yourself to sneak around, why not just bring some gum or hard candy? If you're afraid you'll pig out when confronted with your pals' Junior Mints and Raisinettes, eat a meal before you head for the multiplex. And remind yourself that you're not there for the food anyway. The real purpose, as everyone knows, is to gawk at Orlando Bloom and Natalie Portman.

You have no clue what you are talking about. Sugar and flour is the same thing when it comes to adding on the pounds.
Fat free snacks are just as bad as the the pop corn. You might as well eat what you want then. Everything turns into sugar and extra pounds. You need a low carb snack if you want to lose weight. Try some peanuts atleast there are some healthy carbs in there with plenty of fiber.
