The Why:  Everyone wants a flat stomach.  But there is a particular, special time in a woman’s life when a belly is best…ie, when you’re pregnant!  And as we all know, pregnancy brings along with it some special nutritional needs—and desires. You know. Those crazy cravings that you’ll be joking about long after you’ve delivered? Well, NutraBella Belly Bars are a great thing to add to your list--and your handbag-- before, during and after pregnancy.  They have 180 calories, 8 grams of protein and 5 grams of fat.  They’re crispy, and come in 4 great flavors.

The Health Bonus: There are 18mg of iron, which is 100% of what you need in a day, in a single Belly bar (if you're not pregnant, or are not sure how much iron you need, check with your doctor or health care provider).  There is also 35% of the calcium that you need in a day. Check out the complete list of vitamins and minerals:

Vitamin A         15%
Calcium           35%
Vitamin E         35%
Folate               200%
Magnesium      20%
Vitamin C         35%
Iron                  100%
Vitamin B6       100%
Vitamin B1       215%
Zinc                 20%

What We Liked Best:  They taste great, you wouldn't even know they were good for you. And, you don't really have to be pregnant to eat them!

What We Liked Least:  Two moms on our tasting panel wish they'd known about these when they were pregnant. Also, keep in mind they are not a "free food" they still have calories -- so if you're not pregnant  -- watch those extra calories.

What It Replaces: Candy bars and/or other junk foods you might be craving. The Price: About $2.00
