Courtney Love Confuses Me. Print E-mail

So, you remember when Courtney Love said she lost all that weight on a macrobiotic diet, right? I’m not the only one who heard that? Well, apparently she was just kidding. What she meant to say was, the macrobiotic diet made her fat and diet shakes made her skinny. I can see where anyone might get confused between the two.

Here’s the new line from Courtney: “I did a photoshoot for Italian Vogue and realized I was 182 pounds. At the time I had Gwyneth's cook who does macro food. I thought, ‘It can't make me fat—he's Gwyneth's cook!’ But I saw those pictures and thought, 'Oh my God!'” So she taped the not-so-flattering pics to the fridge, started working out, and switched over to diet shakes, broccoli, and fish. (In other words, um, diet shakes with a side of macro.)

Seriously? Are we really supposed to believe that, with all her newfound royalty money, Courtney slimmed down on Slim-Fast? Come on. That doesn’t even require a personal chef! C-Lo needs to learn how to splurge like a real star…or at least make up better stories.
