Free Food Vs. Size-0 Jeans Print E-mail

If you think staving off double-cheeseburger cravings is hard, imagine if those juicy all-beef patties were free. I can promise you one thing—this post wouldn’t be here, because I’d already be en route to McD’s instead of sitting at my computer eating Lucky Charms. So it amazes me when celebs get unlimited access to free munchies at their favorite fast food joints and somehow manage to stay slim. Holy willpower, Batman. Click through to see who’s on the gratis-grub list.

Beyonce: She originated the trend when she scored a “lifetime membership” card from Popeye’s Chicken, her favorite guilty pleasure—but she swore off the free bird when she landed her Foxy Cleopatra role in Austin Powers 3. That was five years ago, and from the looks of it, she hasn’t been back for any Craver Paks lately.

Jennifer Hudson: Sure, she won an Oscar…but more importantly, Jennifer Hudson can have all the golden French fries she wants. After she was criticized for failing to thank the American Idol peeps for her cinematic success (because logic is null in Hollywood ), Jennifer snapped back, “If I'd been any better at my job when I was at Burger King in my middle teens, I wouldn't be here either, so should I thank them, too?" BK responded with eternal freebies.

Fergie: She name-dropped Taco Bell in “Glamorous” and professed her undying devotion to the crunch wrap again during a performance. As a thank-you for her explicit shout-out, she was offered free fourthmeal for her and all her fans after a concerts. (Why does it crack me up that Taco Bell’s president used the phrases “threw us props” and “keeping it real” in the first line of his letter?)

Anyway, no word if Fergie Ferg’s cashed in yet. But just let me know the time and place—that’s one afterparty I’d hate to miss.
