Calorie Bargain: Lean Cuisine Twice the Veggies – Sesame Stir Fry with Chicken

The Why: As if a convenient frozen meal with veggies wasn’t good enough, Lean Cuisine now offers us twice the veggies.  Which means more food for less calories, plus you’ll feel full longer. These are part of their Spa Cuisine Classics line.

The Health Bonus: Extra veggies.  (Need we say more?)

What We Liked Best: The flavor is great—it’s sort of like sweet n’ sour chicken.

What We Liked Least: The sodium count is high—but that’s typical of most frozen meals.

The Price: $3.79

Offerings: Sesame Stir Fry with Chicken, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Ginger Garlic Stir Fry with Chicken, Hunan Stir Fry with Beef, Grilled Chicken Primavera

Website: www.leancuisine.com

Where to Buy: Local grocery store.

Ingredients: Cooked chicken white meat (chicken white meat, water, modified tapioca starch, chicken flavor (dehydrated chicken broth, chicken powder, natural flavor), carrageenan, whey protein concentrate (made from milk), salt), blanched whole wheat vermicelli (water, whole durum wheat flour), broccoli, water, yellow carrots, red peppers, edamame soybeans, brown sugar, soy sauce (water, wheat, soybeans, salt), apple cider vinegar, modified cornstarch, chile garlic sauce (chile pepper (chiles, salt), garlic, water, sugar, rice vinegar, modified cornstarch, acetic acid), corn syrup, soybean oil, brown sugar syrup, sesame seeds, garlic concentrate (garlic, salt, natural flavors, sesame oil, canola oil, citric acid), caramel color, spice.

I tried some of these and while they taste good I think the portion size is kinda small. It didn't fill me up. Would be better paired w a salad!
