After the whole head-shaving, rehab-ditching, umbrella-wielding debacle a few weeks ago, I had filed Britney away as off-limits. She was too depressing to talk about. But lately, there’s no ignoring her. She’s whipped herself into shape—and despite rampant rumors of plastic surgery, she swears it’s through healthy living. You know, the kind of healthy living Britney has always been known for. (Oh wait, maybe I’m thinking of the wrong person.) The popular explanation for Britney’s weight loss involved a plastic surgery bill that rivaled the GNP of most small countries—lipo, lifts, you name it. Of course, Britney’s camp says it isn’t so (though she has been spotted at a LipoDissolve clinic). In the new US Weekly, her trainer outlines her “extremely hard” fitness regimen. She burns calories with kickboxing, running, and fusion dance classes. And then, of course, there’s the diet. Britney is a fierce advocate of the Cheetos-and-wings diet, which she has followed strictly for two years. But apparently she’s given up the fast food in favor of sushi, fruits and veggies, and yogurt. Sounds like a plan. The only catch: Pictures like this keep popping up. If you’re going to blame pure-and-simple healthy living, Brit, at least try to keep up the pretense in public. Trackback(0)
