Eat Eggs in Moderation Just how many eggs can you eat and still be heart healthy?

Nutrition experts are still in a tug-of-war over whether or not eggs are bad for your heart.

Several studies in which scientists have recorded exactly what people ate, indicate that eggs do raise cholesterol, which can increase your risk for heart disease.

However, a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association shows that eating no more than one egg per day doesn't raise your risk of heart disease.

If you're confused by the conflicting reports, play it safe: Consume no more than four eggs per week, which happens to be the average for Americans anyway, according to the Nutrition Action Healthletter.
