Did you know that the color of your foods can tell you the different nutrients it contains? Choose a colorful plate to get in all your vitamins! RED Examples: apples, cherries, pink grapefruit, strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, radishes, red pepper, red cabbage, tomatoes YELLOW/ORANGE Examples: lemons, oranges, mangoes, peaches, pineapple, corn, yellow squash, pumpkin, carrots GREEN Examples: kiwi, grapes, broccoli, peas, green pepper, spinach, zucchini, cucumbers, lettuce, asparagus, honeydew, limes, celery WHITE/TAN Examples: bananas, pears, cauliflower, mushrooms, onions, potatoes, garlic BLUE/PURPLE Examples: blackberries, blueberries, plums, purple grapes, eggplant, raisins What color is your plate? My question is do purple grapes have the same heart benefits as grape juice?
