I’m a Lost junkie. Ask me a simple question about that show, and I’ll ramble until you’re sorry you brought it up. I have theories about the smoke monster, Hanso, and Desmond’s ominous flashes. So in honor of my renewed obsession with the show, I’m going to tackle one mystery that seems to be a hot topic on the show’s message boards: Why hasn’t Hurley lost weight? Okay, for starters, the Lostaways get regular shipments of peanut butter, potato chips, and mac ‘n’ cheese. Combine that with middle-of-nowhere boredom, and you’ve got a recipe for a binge. That said, Jorge Garcia—the guy behind the big guy—actually has dropped a few (30 and counting) in his time on the island. Since he made the move to Oahu, Jorge says he’s been swimming, hiking, and eating lighter island fare. Plus, he has access to that ever popular weight-loss resource: money. “ I can afford to not live on rum and burritos and take better care of myself,” he says. Trackback(0)

maybe he's eating the people who don't make it... haha. Good for him dropping the weight, though! :)
