Recipe: Super Duper M&M Nutty-Fudge Brownies Print E-mail

You read it right--the words M&M's, and Nutty Fudge are on the DietDetective.com recipe section!  Try this decadent treat that you can feel good about enjoying.

Makes 1 Dozen

INGREDIENTS
1 package of Deep & Velvety Vita Brownie Mix**
2 egg whites
1 ¼ cup of water
¼ cup of M&M Mini Baking Candy
¼ cup of crushed walnuts
1 regular size milk chocolate candy bar broken into pieces
1 teaspoon of vanilla Flavored extracteces
1 teaspoon of vanilla flavored extract
 
DIRECTIONS
1. Combine Deep & Velvety Vita Brownie Mix, water and egg whites in large bowl.
2. Add broken candy bar pieces & vanilla extract. Mix well.
3. Spray Non-stick square brownie pan well.
4. Spread brownie mixture evenly.
5. Top with crushed walnuts and M&M mini’s.
6. Bake 20-27 minutes

Tip: This is a great dessert for the kids. It’s a little decadent (so be careful! :-) but in comparison it’s still pretty safe and still packed with vitamins and fiber.
