Recipe: Guiltless French Fries Print E-mail

Keep the taste, ditch the guilt. 

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS
4 medium potatoes
Cooking spray
Salt and pepper (optional)

DIRECTIONS
1. Scrub potatoes with vegetable brush
2. Slit each potato lengthwise down the middle
3. Microwave potatoes on high power for about 20 minutes or until soft (Please note: Cooking time may vary due to microwave strength / power).
4. While potatoes are microwaving, preheat broiler or toaster oven to 500°F.
5. Slice potatoes lengthwise into wedges of desired thickness (be careful, potatoes will be hot).
6. Place potato wedges on baking tray or toaster oven tray. Spray on a light coat of cooking spray. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Bake for 5-10 Minutes or until desired crispiness.
8. Serve with ketchup or BBQ sauce.
