Recipe: Granola Print E-mail

Embrace your crunchy granola side. 

Makes 20 servings

INGREDIENTS
Cooking Spray
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup apricot preserves
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup apple juice
4 cups regular oats
1 cup Grape-Nuts cereal
1 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped dates, or any other dried fruit

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 2 large cookie sheets with cooking spray.
2. Combine next 5 ingredients in a small bowl to make a smooth liquid.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the last 4 ingredients -- the oats, cereal and fruit.
4. Pour the liquid over the oat mixture and stir making sure the mixture becomes evenly coated with the liquid.
5. Spread the mixture on the two large cookie sheets. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every five minutes to break up big clumps.
6. Cool completely before storing.
