The Ultimate 60-Second Stress Reliever If you have two chairs and a minute to spare, here’s a move that can strip away your anxiety.

Will your boss like your proposal? Should you spend the extra $50 for carpet stain protection? When will your Mom stop calling you "Pookie" in public? It's hard to let go when you're contending with so many stressful things.

If you feel like you've got the weight of the world on your shoulders, there's a reason--and we've got the antidote.

This one pose can release compression throughout the body, give fluids a break from gravity to help flush out wastes, and elongate the spine for better posture. The two-chair headstand also puts force on pressure points along the trapezius and leaves your neck in a weightless state, which even lying flat doesn't allow.

Here's how to do it:

Find two sturdy armless chairs and a wall. Position the chairs together side-by-side with their backs facing the wall.

Spread the front of the chairs apart to form a V-shaped space between them. (The inner corners should stay touching to form the bottom of the V.)

Maintaining the V shape, push the chairs against the wall, and cover each one with a big, thick towel.

Stand at the edges of the chairs and bend from the waist until you can gently rest the front of your shoulders on the seat pads. Place your hands along the outer edges of the chairs.

Position yourself in a headstand by slowly drawing your legs up (it's not as hard as it sounds) until they extend toward the ceiling, feet relaxed.

Bend one knee and place that foot flat against the wall. Now, focus on relaxing all of your muscles, starting with your feet and working your way down to your head.

Rest in this position for as long as is comfortable, switching your legs halfway through.

A picture or photo would be helpful to see the position demonstrated.
