So, you want to lose weight? Where do you start? Sometimes it seems so overwhelming. My personal path to weight loss started in my mind. First I decided to decide to be a more healthy person. Then I took it into thephysical realm and decided to stop buttering my cheesecake. Once my mindand body lined up, things really started cookin'. Next I got my spirit involved. Yes, for me it was very holistic. Everything having to do with everything. |

The Rolling Stones are right. You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes you just might find, you get what you need. Yes, the Rolling Stones have discovered the key to happiness. I've decided I have what I need. Better yet, I've had an epiphany. I've decided to want what I have. Try it for a second. Want, I mean really WANT something you have already. Doesn't your appreciation for that thing or person deepen tremendously? Don't you feel happy? Now check this out, try this with your body. Love your body, the body God gave you, as it is NOW. |

I don't know how much I weigh. So don't ask. Not that you care. But I cared, way too much. There was a time I would weight myself 5, 10 times a day--as if I was going to lose 20 lbs in 3 hours. God knows, it felt like I should have, especially after a grueling 2 hour workout. But no, the scale would stay the same, even jump up a number or two. I had to think hard. Out smart my scale. I'd strategize. Okay, tomorrow I will weight myself in the morning, before eating anything, naked. Not the number I want to see yet. Fine, next I'll weight myself after a day of fasting. No luck yet. |
