The Why:  Oh my gosh, these are so rich, creamy, and fudgy. Whoever said good things come in small packages was right. I’ve always liked Skinny Cow’s flying saucers, but never fell in love with their other ice creams. But these are great, and I'm amazed that they're so low in calories. The truth is that they blow away the Fudgsicle (which we've been a fan of for years). These pops are the perfect size to satisfy any chocolate cravings in an instant. As Skinny Cow says “your taste buds will be doing cartwheels!”

The Why:  When my four year old discovered that we had an extra box of these in the freezer she went berserk, and so did my wife, and everyone on the DietDetective.com staff.  Only 150 calories and 3 grams of fat, the refreshingly cool low fat mint ice cream topped with decadent fudge on a crisp chocolate-coated waffle cone makes of a nice summertime treat. And the mint is very refreshing.

The Why:  Mesquite-seasoned white-meat chicken strips are combined with green peppers, tomatoes, onions, cheese and Southwest-style sauce on sourdough bread. I’ve been taste-testing these for about three weeks now. The taste is great. And get this: They’re filling and only 280 calories.  I still haven’t figured out how to get the bread crispy each time even though I’ve been using the special tray that helps to crisp it — but I’m working on it.
