Mary’s Gone Crackers
The Why: There is so much that we liked about these crackers. They’re very crunchy and tasty (although some of our taste-testers were not as blown away as others). Plus, these nutty flavor treats are wheat-free, gluten-free and organic. Each cracker has only 8 calories, as compared to other crackers, which can range from10-20 calories per. |

The Why: It’s reasonably low in calories, tastes very good, and has fiber that we desperately need. The yogurt is a combined effort from General Mills’ Yoplait and Fiber One brands. This yogurt is only 80 calories for a container, which fits in perfectly as a mid-afternoon snack. Must people don’t realize that by not eating a snack the research shows that they overeat during other meals. |

Yoplait Kids Yogurt Drinks (Strawberry)
The Why: This drink, specifically designed for toddlers, has less sugar than typical yogurt drinks, the ingredients aren’t as bad as many kids’ yogurts, and it has Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer, Nick Jr. and Go, Diego, Go! characters on the packaging. It’s reasonably low in calories and has a smooth texture (for safety). Plus, according to a few of our very young taste testers, “It’s good.” |
